On March 13th, 2020, Bre­on­na Tay­lor was mur­dered by 3 offi­cers who have yet to be charged. Her death — along with the death of George Floyd and many oth­ers — sparked some of the largest protests in his­to­ry. We want to remem­ber her life. We demand account­abil­i­ty for the offi­cers who killed her and were then reward­ed with paid time off — fund­ed by the very cit­i­zens they were sworn to pro­tect. Black women are killed extra­ju­di­cial­ly with har­row­ing fre­quen­cy and their names are often the last to be said. On Sep­tem­ber 29th, 2020, 200 days after she was tak­en from us we will say her name.
