A for­mer lug­gage trans­fer sta­tion for the adja­cent Read­ing Rail­road, the space has been ren­o­vat­ed into a beau­ti­ful and unique event hall. Sky-high ceil­ings, dra­mat­ic chan­de­liers, stained glass through­out the build­ing cou­pled with a state of the art sound and light­ing sys­tem. With a large lob­by, four bars and a mez­za­nine with tiered seat­ing and a bal­cony we host events from 200 to 1200 people. Cen­tral­ly locat­ed in Cen­ter City, we are one of the few facil­i­ties to fea­ture a park­ing lot (actu­al­ly, we have two of them!). Only a 10 minute walk from sev­er­al dif­fer­ent pub­lic trans­porta­tion stops and just a few blocks from I‑95/676 entrance/exit ramps. Get­ting to Union Trans­fer could not be easier. With­in eigh­teen months of open­ing we were fea­tured in Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Top 20 Venues in Amer­i­ca” and named by the BBC as “one of the hottest venues on the US east coast”. You can pur­chase tick­ets online by click­ing the TICKETS icon on any show page on our site and will be tak­en to the Tick­et­fly site. Pur­chase over the phone by call­ing Tick­et­fly at 877–4‑FLY-TIX. You can also pur­chase tick­ets for shows at Union Trans­fer w/ NO SERVICE FEE at our box office (1026 Spring Gar­den Street). The box office is open every Fri­day and Sat­ur­day from Noon to 6pm AND every evening we have a show from 5pm to close . We accept both cash and cred­it (no fee for either). If tick­ets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show. If you’re unsure, please call the Union Trans­fer to inquire. In addi­tion to our box office, tick­ets are also avail­able six days a week with NO SERVICE FEES at Philadelphia’s finest inde­pen­dent record store Long In The Tooth (2027 San­som Street). Open from 12pm-7pm Tues­day through Thurs­day, 12–9pm Fri­day & Sat­ur­day and 12pm-6pm on Sun­day. Tick­ets pur­chased at LITT are CASH ONLY. If a show is can­celled, refunds are avail­able at point of pur­chase. You will be refund­ed auto­mat­i­cal­ly if you pur­chas­es a tick­et through Tick­et­fly.
