There has nev­er been a day in Amer­i­ca where Black Amer­i­cans have been safe or free. Year after year, gen­er­a­tion after gen­er­a­tion we watch as our peo­ple are wrong­ly accused, false­ly impris­oned, stripped of land, inven­tions, homes and basic human­i­ty. On Mon­day, May 25th George Floy­d’s life was tak­en by offi­cer of the law who swore to serve and pro­tect. Instead he cow­ard­ly used his author­i­ty to exe­cute Mr. Floyd. This is a fight for the sur­vival of Black peo­ple in a soci­ety that sees us as par­tial­ly human. Join us, stand with us to DEMAND sys­temic, insti­tu­tion­al and struc­tur­al change. We MUST call on elect­ed lead­ers to enforce account­abil­i­ty or we orga­nize to force them out with our votes!
