Join Black Votes Matter, Philadelphia NAACP, National Action Network, Political Strategist Melissa Robbins, words from Attorney Michael Coard and more speakers to be announced.
There has never been a day in America where Black Americans have been safe or free. Year after year, generation after generation we watch as our people are wrongly accused, falsely imprisoned, stripped of land, inventions, homes and basic humanity. On Monday, May 25th George Floyd’s life was taken by officer of the law who swore to serve and protect. Instead he cowardly used his authority to execute Mr. Floyd. This is a fight for the survival of Black people in a society that sees us as partially human. Join us, stand with us to DEMAND systemic, institutional and structural change. We MUST call on elected leaders to enforce accountability or we organize to force them out with our votes!
