The future of the games indus­try is in our hands. The Waf­fle Games is a col­lab­o­ra­tive effort to rede­fine what it means to be involved in games and their com­mu­ni­ties. We want to keep fight­ing for afford­able game devel­op­ment edu­ca­tion, the legit­imiza­tion of esports on col­lege cam­pus­es, and the recog­ni­tion of games as an art form. In line with this mis­sion, all atten­dees, speak­ers, exhibitors, and vol­un­teers can access the entire con­ven­tion for FREE. We espe­cial­ly encour­age stu­dents, fac­ul­ty, and local stu­dios to show­case their research, skills, and game projects.

NOTE: Due to the cur­rent glob­al sit­u­a­tion, Waf­fle Games 3.0 is now vir­tu­al! We are in the works of devel­op­ing an in-per­son “Waf­fle Games 3.5” for the sum­mer if the sit­u­a­tion improves, and would love to see you all involved with that once we’re on the oth­er side of all this. How­ev­er, we think it’s impor­tant now more than ever to keep run­ning events and pro­vid­ing resources for our com­mu­ni­ties in what­ev­er way we can. We will be post­pon­ing until April 24th in order for our sched­ule to be reworked and for our exhibitors and speak­ers to pre­pare to vir­tu­al­ize their content. 

Attend talks from game devel­op­ers and oth­er indus­try pro­fes­sion­als, com­pete in tour­na­ments, and vis­it our exhib­it hall to see what’s going on in the indus­try and dis­cov­er in-devel­op­ment and new­ly released games! Raf­fles will hap­pen through­out the night!
